Prevent vehicle wireless remote control from damage

The wireless remote control can be used to lock and unlock the vehicle. Using the wireless remote control to lock the doors will set the alarm. If a door is not opened within approximately 30 seconds after the vehicle is unlocked, the remote control security feature automatically locks the vehicle again.

To prevent wireless remote control damage, do not subject the wireless control to strong shocks, expose them to high temperature by placing then in direct sunlight, or get them wet. Electromagnetic materials or any materials that blocks electromagnetic waves to the wireless remote control surface can also cause damaged.

Condition affecting car remote control operation

The wireless remote control function may not operate normally in the following situations;

1. Near a TV tower, radio station, electric power plant, airport or other facility that generates strong radio waves.

2. When carrying portable radio, cellular phone or other wireless communication devices

3. When multiple car wireless remote controls are in the vicinity

4. When the vehicle wireless remote control is in contact with, or is covered by a metallic object.

5. When a car wireless remote control that emits radio waves is being used nearby.

6. When the vehicle wireless remote has been left near a electrical appliances such as personal computer.

Car wireless remote battery depletion

If the car wireless remote controller function does not operate, the battery may be depleted. Replace the battery when necessary.

When riding in an aircraft

When bringing a wireless remote control onto an aircraft, make sure you do not press any buttons on the wireless remote control while inside the aircraft cabin. If you are carrying a wireless remote control in your bag, etc, ensure that the buttons are not likely to be pressed accidentally. Pressing a button may cause the wireless remote control to emit radio waves that could interfere with the operation of the aircraft.
