KOOLFEVER Baby as designed is to absorb and disperse heat from baby's feverish body. Pad size is perfect to fit on baby's forehead, and it made to attach firmly and not being displace at the slightest movement. The pad patch is fragrance free and comes gentle to baby’s sensitive skin. Each cooling gel patch could only last not more than four hours.

How it works? 

It works with the moisture it contained in the gel. It adsorb and releases heat so that specified coolong effects are obtained. The gel is water soluble polymer based. Single pad is featuring gentle cooling effect suitable for babies and is ready to use as it is when your baby becomes feverish. Because it tightly fits to the forehead, it is not be displaced even your the baby turns in, or roll over in bed. 

Other uses of KOOLFEVER are for sleepless nights/ sultry nights, for headache, for toothache, for sprains and bruises, for hot days, and for flushed skin after sports. But do not use it on irritated or injured skin such as cut, eczema, rash, burns, thermal injury, etc. If any irritation such as swelling, rashes, etc., occurs during or after application, discontinue use and see a dermatologist.

How to use

1. Remove transparent film and tightly affix the gel cooling surface to desired area (for example forehead/ neck/ underarm).

Based on my experience, kool fever helps relief my baby JC Jane fever but aside from the patch I also gave my child a drop of paracetamol.

What are the side effect of koolfever cooling gel patch to babies?

Some say, the side effect could be cold burn, also some people told it cause hydrocephalus. I don't know if that is true or what. Because, hydrocephalus is a condition in which there is an abnormal accumulation of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) within the brain. This typically causes increased pressure inside the skull.
