How do I know my baby getting enough milk

Knowing if baby gotten enough milk in bottle feeding is never an issue. But mom in breast feeding often asking themselves a question like;

• How do I know if my newborn gets sufficient amount of milk?
• Is there any sign to determine newborn baby is full?

The answer can be only see after the first month or two. You will now know from experience that your baby is getting enough milk. She will feel and look heavier.

In the first few weeks it is not easy to tell if your baby is getting enough milk, especially if you are a first time mother. So as a first time parents like you, I do my homework, I ask experience mother.

Here are some signs that your baby is getting enough milk in the first few weeks.

1. Your baby will have wet diapers often, at-least four to five wet disposable diapers and more than two substantial bowel movements per day.
2. Your breast may feel full before feedings, less full after feedings, and leak between feedings.
3. If you feel your baby sucking vigorously, hear him swallowing, feel your milk-ejection reflex, and then see your baby drift contentedly off to sleep. 

If you have these sign, chances are you baby has gotten enough milk.

Understanding newborn babies.

Newborn babies, or infants, spend most of their time sleeping. They are not strong enough do anything for themselves.

Parents or other grown-ups must feed newborns. The infants eat by sucking liquids. Many infants drink their mother’s milk. Older infants drink milk or baby formula from a bottle.

Infants wear diapers. They cannot control when they poop or wet themselves. Grown-ups must change their soiled diapers and give them baths.

Newborn babies cannot talk, so they cry when they need something. They cry when they are hungry or their diapers are wet. They cry when they are too hot or too cold. Parents or big brothers and sisters have to figure out what a crying baby needs.
