Skin pigmentation

Skin pigmentation
Discolored patches or marks may appear on your skin, particularly your forehead and cheeks (sometimes light brown). Pigmentation of the nipples and areola and a dark line down the center of your abdomen is also common. Most of this skin pigmentation will disappear after pregnancy. You should avoid strong sunlight  as this makes it worse. Use sunblock if you have to go out under the sun. Sunblock are made available on supermarkets.

Cravings and Aversion

You may find that you have strong likes and dislikes for certain food during pregnancy. You should avoid food that give you problem like indigestion. While continue to eat variety of nutritious food such as vegetables, fruits, whole grain breads, and cereals for fibers.

Morning Sickness

Despite the name, morning sickness may strike at any time of the day or night. Some may experience mild morning sickness at certain stages of their pregnancy, while others feel unwell for longperiods of the day throughout their pregnancy. In other cases, sickness disappears in the second trimester, but returns in the final three months.

How to avoid morning sickness?

  • Eat small amount of food regularly, rather than a full meals.
  • Avoid spicy and greasy food.
  • If your sickness is at its worst in the morning, bite a portion of food before gettings up example, biscuits or toast.
  • Drink plenty of clean water.
  • Find out the cause of morning sickness if there’s anything. Example, the smell of certain foods or perfume. Try to avoid these triggers.
  • Use ginger in your cooking. Study show that the ginger can actually helps releive nausea and vomiting. Ginger is great with leafy vegetables like cabbage, broccoli, and malunggay leaves. It is also best mix with hot milk or water for a delicious and healthy drink.


Constipation

Constipation is normal and common problem during pregnancy. The problem is partially due to hormonal changes which cause your stomach and intestinal muscles to relax. To avoid constipation, eat plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grain breads, and cereals for fiber.

Darkening of areola

If you are pregnant, the skin around your nipples may get darker

Backaches

Lower backaches may be a symptom that occurs early in pregnancy. However, it is common to experience dull backache throughout the entire pregnancy.

Headaches

The sudden rise of hormones in your body can cause you to have headaches early in pregnancy.

Swollen and Tender Breast

Swollen and tender breast is a pregnancy symptom which may begin as early as one (1) to two (2) weeks after conception. Women may notice changes in their breasts, they may be tender to the touch, sore, or swollen.

Fatigue

Feeling fatigued or more tired is a pregnancy symptom that can start as early as the first week after conception.

Frequent Urination

Around six (6) to eight (8) weeks after conception, you may find yourself making a few extra trips to the bathroom.

Implantation Bleeding

Implantation bleeding can be the most earliest pregnancy symptoms. About to six (6) to twelve (12) day?  Other than that, the embryo implants itself to the wall. Some women will experienced spotting from her.
