How often to change engine oil

Oil plays an important role, such as keeping engine clean inside and out. And a frequent oil change is one of the best thing people can do to take good care a vehicle. For older vehicle, let say 3 years and older, change the oil as often as every 2000 to 6,000 kilometers, no exemptions. Because like it or not vehicle always running in an extreme driving conditions everyday. How can we say if one vehicle drives in an extreme conditions? While  on new vehicles, follow the manufacturers' recommendations for extreme use.

Some vehicle manufacturers suggest that oil be changed every 16,000 km or more, but that's based on optimum operating conditions, and the manufacturers are the ones who get to sell you a brand new vehicle if your old one wears out prematurely. Although new vehicles can run longer on the same oil than older ones can, and improvements in motor oil have extended its efficiency over longer periods of time, to be on the safe side, you might want to change your oil every 5,000 miles or every six months, whichever comes first. If you're a freeway driver who goes on a lot of long journeys at high speeds, you can probably extend the oil change interval, but on anything but the newest vehicles, don't go longer than 5,000 miles between changes. And never, under any circumstances, go farther than the manufacturer's recommended maximum interval between oil changes.

    Definitely oil plays an important role in our vehicle's lifeline. Every vehicle either it’s bike or car definitely need engine oil for smooth running. And it should be change at every 1000km of running. Engine oil helps to keep our engine in good condition and boost its performance; therefore according to experts after every 1000km we need to change our engine oil in bikes and two wheeler and 3000, 5000 and 7500 for cars.
